Care Teams were formed in 2005 with the purpose of ministering to the needs of church members, and the health of the church as a whole, more effectively by creating small groups with appointed group leaders.

Above, Richie, Shay, Sarah, and Jayme celebrate their birthdays during a July 2005 care team meeting at the home of Richard and James.

"And they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. And everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place... and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved."

Acts 2:42-43, 46-47
